On 19 October, communities will come together with indigenous leaders and bishops for a pilgrimage through Rome to “pray with their feet” and show support for the synod.
The pilgrimage will start in Castel Sant’Angelo and end in St. Peter’s Square.
This pilgrimage is a way to refresh our spirits, lift the spirits of the synodal fathers, and witness to the world that Catholics want to protect the Amazon and its people.
